Highly
flexible calculation types, cost elements and rate structuring
facility to fit most situations
1.
Any type of cost element can be defined by user.
2. You can attach specific dependency factors take color, size
and job type etc. to cost.
3. Dependency factors to formulate costing rules for computations.
4. Cost Elements can be related to product templates.

Using
standard templates of product definition a print job can be
defined with all the details and cost estimated for the same
for pre-press, press and post-press costs. It gives a final
per piece or per copy cost with total job value. You can see
the estimate cost sheet item + component wise or cost element
wise. You can choose multiple options for a job component like
paper types finish, color vs black/white and so on.
The
cost elements can be played with for if and but analysis to
fit a job in an expected cost range or margin of profit. Cost
sheets can be reworked on the fly for specification changes
and options desired. This gives tremendous competitive advantage
in responding to customer requests quickly and accurately. Error
of judgment in cost working is major reasons for non-profitable
or loss causing jobs in print industry.
A wide variety of Costing Rules are defined. Firstly a set of
predefined list of cacluation types are given. These types cover
all possible printing cost that one need to estimate. Under
each type of calculation you can create your own set of cost
elements. For each cost element you can define rates. The rates
can depened on different dependency factors that the calculatio
type supports.
COSTING
TYPES & ELEMENTS DEFINITION
The rates can be applied as a slab structure. So one can define
quantity slab driven rate chart. There is no limit to number
of slabs. The quantity for a product's component in an estimate
will decide what rate the particular cost element will be charge
for it.
